Twister

It seems so unfair that the sun should be shining today, after such a terrible night.

I know that life still goes on, that there are worse terrors and disasters out there. I can't expect the whole world to stop for this. But it still feels as though it should, that even the sun and the sky should pause for just a moment to acknowledge the suffering.

I'm grateful to be safe, to have a roof over my head tonight, and electricity to power my computer. I'm thinking and praying for those who weren't so lucky.
